Along with submitting to PSA we also offer a few additional services to assist you in receiving better grades. We offer Reviews, Microfiber Wipes and Slab Cracking as well.
Reviews
We will review the card(s) for defects that are visible to the naked eye and point them out to you. Knowing the defects will help determine if the card should be graded or not. Some cards even in lower grades demand a premium however this is not across the board.
Microfiber Wipe
In the day of Modern cards most have a type of surface which is shiny. This has a lot of different names as its based on the manufacturer, these show finger prints, dust, oil touching them etc. If you send in a card with fingerprints all over and oil it will receive a lower grade. We take a microfiber cloth which will remove these and not effect the surface of the card to increase the chance at a higher grade.
slab cracking
With multiple grading companies you may get a grade that you weren’t expecting or a grade that now makes the card worth less as a graded card or even maybe a grade you disagree with. Since the cases are sonically sealed it takes a little work to get these out of the cases also known as slabs. We will remove the card from the previous case. From here you can either send it back in for grading or you can leave it as is in your collection.
