Harvbo Cards uses CGC for grading Magazines while PSA doesn’t do these. CGC is the world’s leading comic book certification company, introduced grading and encapsulation services for magazines, starting in 2009. Today, CGC Magazines certifies most of the industry’s best-known titles, including Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, Time and TV Guide, as well as comic magazines such as Wizard, Marvel magazines and Vampirella.
If you have a signed magazine that you would like graded it would first need to have the autograph authenticated by a Third-Party such as PSA, Beckett or JSA. Once it has been authenticated then we can send it off for grading. Most times as CGC sees autographs as altering the magazine these are usually graded lower than non-autographed copies.
